Temporary Events &
Permits |
A
temporary food establishment has been defined as:
-
Operating at a fixed location, with a fixed menu, for not more than
twenty-one consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or
celebration, such as a fair or festival; or
-
Operating
not more than three days a week at a fixed location, with a fixed menu, in
conjunction with an approved, recurring, organized event, such as a
farmers market.

Applying for a Temporary Event Permit

Return
Temporary Event Application and
appropriate
fees to Whitman County Public
Health.

Post
Temporary Event Permit and
Sign up sheet
(signed by all employees/volunteers) at event.

Follow rules
and regulations found in
WAC -246-215-Subpart
B-Temporary Food Establishments (p.114-115).

Get
inspected by an Environmental Health Specialist during your event.
