What is WIC?

WIC is a nutrition program for pregnant women, new and breastfeeding moms, and children under 5. WIC helps improve the health of women and children by offering the following services: nutrition education, monthly checks for healthy food, health screenings and referrals and breastfeeding support.

Foster children under age five and foster teens who are pregnant are income eligible for WIC.
