COLFAX,WA.- January 21, 2004. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrest In Several Recent Burglaries And Thefts In The St. John, WA. Area.

An 18yoa, adult male was arrested at his residence in St. John, WA. late Wednesday afternoon. The Sheriff’s Office has been investigating several Burglaries and Thefts in the St. John area over the past 6-9 months. Recent information in addition to evidence from prior investigations provided the Sheriff’s Office the information necessary to make the arrest.

Based on information provided by the suspect during an interview, coupled with casework over the past 9 months, the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office believes they have evidence to close out the following cases. The Dec. 2003 Burglary of the St. John School; The Sept.2003 Burglary of the St. John Pharmacy; And the May 2003 Burglary of the St. John Medical Clinic.

The Sheriff’s Office credits cooperation with the St. John/Endicott School System and concerned members of the community in bringing these cases to a successful close.
