COLFAX, WA.- The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests in connection with a Burglary of the Oakesdale School which occurred in August of 2003. Two adult males and one juvenile male have been arrested with charges expected as early as next week. During the Burglary, approximately $6000 worth of equipment was stolen from the School to include four lap-top computers. All four computers have been recovered.

Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers credits the solid working relationship of the Oakesdale School District and the Sheriff’s Office in bringing this case to a close. Myers stated, “It is this kind of working relationship which is vital to solving and preventing crime in our communities and our schools.”
