The Whitman County Jail houses all levels of offenders, from thieves to murders. But since we are in Whitman County, we don't seem to have many of the latter. In fact, the average offender is here on non-violent charges. On any given day we have people in jail from crimes such as DUI, Theft, Burglary, Sex Offenses, Drug Offenses, Driving Offenses, Weapon Offenses, Assault, Fraud and Failure to Appear in Court on Previous Charges.
