Purpose
The primary function of Whitman County Environmental Health continues to be education in order to promote, maintain, and improve the health status of residents and the environment in Whitman County . The Environmental Health Department is a division of Whitman County Public Health, and works closely with doctors, nurses, hospitals and laboratories to monitor and ensure all aspects of public health. The Environmental Health Department is proud of its commitment to both the community and environment, and continuously works to maintain these relationships .
